NYFW: Dinner with Glam Media
This past NYFW, Glam.com invited their bloggers to have dinner at SoHo House in NYC. It’s always a pleasure to attend this event and see some of my favorite fellow bloggers. NYFW: The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection
I never imagined when I was diagnosed with heart disease that my life would end up where it is now. I’ve been extremely blessed. I’ve used my diagnosis to spread the word to others about the dangers of heart disease by starting the Bleeding Heart Project. Swa-Rai is heading back to New York!!
You guys know that time of year that comes around twice a year? That’s right New York Fashion Week is almost upon us and Swa-Rai is heading back to the Big Apple! As soon as my Bleeding Heart Project launch event is over, I will be preparing to take off to the City of Dreams! New York holds a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to get back to see some Fashion Shows, attend events and most importantly see some of my favorite bloggers! NYFW: Atelier AZZA’s Monarch S/S 2012 Runway Show
Chicago’s own Emerging designer Azeeza Desai Khan debuted her first collection, Monarch, S/S 2012 in New York during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The runway show was held at the prestigious Ritz Carlton NY Hotel. Azzeza’s collection was a fusion of her Indian & Afghan heritage with a European flair, full of delicate and intricate details. Azeeza’s pieces scream sophistication, they are glamourous minus all the fuss! NYFW: Style Salon S/S 2012 Fashion Show
While in New York I got a chance to attend The Style Salon S/S 2012 Fashion Show at Landmark on the Park. The show held in an old church provided the backdrop for the fashion event featuring designes by Kachi Designs, Maria Michele, Nailahs Bags, Sukari New York and Ikasho.
