Tech Report: vTech Audio/Video Doorbell Review

20140302_102121I love tech, I love tech for many reasons but perhaps the biggest reason is that it makes my life convenient. Recently, I was sent the vTech Audio/Video Doorbell phone for review; talk about taking convenience to the next level. If you are like me, you hate unexpected guests so I need something that allows me to see who is at my door before I decide if I want to answer it or not. If you like to know who’s at your door before you answer it then the vTech Audio/Video Doorbell may be just what you need.

This phone is perfect for me because I can do so much with it. It’s very easy and simple to use, it will take you less than 10 minutes to set up. Once you’ve charged all the devices and adjusted the camera you are ready to rock and roll. The way it works is pretty neat once someone presses the doorbell button the vTech will take their picture and send it to your phone. Once you receive the picture it’s up to you to answer or ignore. You can even talk to your guest through the handset. This is also perfect for those of us who live in apartments and can’t see guests at the doorbell directly. If your guests stop by at night the vTech Audio/Video Doorbell is set up with night vision. That means you can see who is ringing your doorbell day or night.

I love how you can use the handsets as an intercom system in the house. Have something you need to tell your son but he’s in another part of the house? Use the intercom function. And if all of that isn’t enough the phone feature works equally as good with options such as: voice announce, caller id, a digital answering system, HD AUIDO and so much phone. This phone is the definition of multi-tasking, it really gets the job done.
