Swa-Rai Mommy: Swiffer’s NEW Sweep & Trap Review

Since having my son, I swear I’ve never cleaned this much in my life! I have to clean daily in order to keep my house in decent order. I don’t know what it is about these little critters we call children but I’ve had enough. It feels like every time he goes in a room, he unloads a dump truck full of trash and scraps and then he walks away like he’s done nothing.

Recently, I received Swiffer’s New Sweep & Trap and decided to put it to the test, to see just how the Swiffer stacked up when it comes to cleaning up mess. First up we used the Swiffer to pick up some nails and bolts. We sprinkled them down on the floor to see if the Swiffer was able to pick it up… And to our surprise the Swiffer faired well! It picked up the nuts and bolts without a hitch.

Next up we used the Swiffer to pick up wood shavings off the ground and once again, the Swiffer faired very well, picking up most of the trash. 100-33

We found that we had to go over it a few times but most of it was picked up.100-36

See how dirty my floor is? I’m telling you the struggle is real!100-38

After you’re done you simply toss the trash in the garbage and you are done. No broom or dust pan required! When you are done replace the dry liner with a new one and do it all over again.100-39Overall, the Swiffer was fairly easy to put together, it handle most messes but worked especially good on bigger pieces. If you have smaller trash to pick up, you may have to go over it a few times before it’s all gone but I recommend it if you are looking for something quick and easy. If you are looking to pick up your own Swiffer,  you can pick up one at your local Walmart!
