Today I’m excited to tell you guys about, a site where you swap clothing and accessories you no longer need for new clothes and accessories. That’s right you get to clean the clutter out of your closets, while updating your current wardrobe. If you are a hoarder like me then you probably have tons of stuff to go through.

Swapdom makes the process fairly simple.  All you have to do is gather up all those items you no longer wear, you know those items that are sitting in your closet collecting dust. Take pictures of those items, and upload them on; answer a few quick questions and then you are done. Then go through the all the items available to swap, once you find something you want tell Swapdom what you have to offer and they will do the rest.  There’s no negotiating and everyone gets what they want! It’s very simple and straight to the point.

Since the boychild has so many clothes, I found this would be the easiest items for me to swap. He is literally growing out of his clothes on a daily basis, it’s hard to keep up. I guess that is one of the benefits of having a big boy! Right now, I’m about to start preparing his wardrobe for the summer. So you know what that means?? Going through all of his clothes from last year to see what he can and can not fit. Instead of throwing them away, I decided to swap them for clothes in his size.

unnamed I still have a ton of clothes to go through but at least it’s a start. The great thing about Swapdom is it’s not just for kids, you can upload items for women, men and kids. Currently they have an awesome giveaway going on for a top of the line Phil & Teds Stroller enter to win it here. Swapdom is completely free, to join and start swaping your items go here.

I love buying “gently used” clothes but rarely have time to shop in a brick-and-mortar store. This is the best of both worlds. Thanks for sharing!

This is such a great idea and I love that you only have to offer what you have and not money or other specific items.
