After the success of the first McDonald’s Block Party featuring R&B Singer Joe (read about it here), the Black McDonald’s Operators Association (BMOA) is back with a 2nd concert in the Block Party Series featuring R&B Singer Avant.
The free concert was held at The Legacy Ballroom on the city’s south side and hosted by V103’s Ramonski Luv along with an opening performance by WCGI’s DJ and Comedian Tony Sculfield. Concertgoers were able to obtain free tickets by filing out an online entry on V103.com or stopping by select McDonald’s locations for their chance to win. What better way to spend one of your summer nights then at an free after work concert. Guests got a chance to let their hair down, grab a drink and relax all while listening to good music. Soon it was time for Avant to hit the stage to sing some of his best hits including: I Can Read Your Mind, 4 Minutes and more!
Avant proved he still had it as he continued cranking out the hits!
The house was packed and loving every minute of Avant. If you weren’t in the house then you truly missed a treat! I’m really loving this free Block Party Series presented by Black McDonald’s Operators Association. It’s just another way that BMOA is giving back to their community. And word on the block is there will be one more concert before the series is done, so stay tuned to see how you can get your free tickets from BMOA.
