Hanging at the Bud Billiken Parade with Black McDonald’s Operators Association x Giveaway

Last week, I was asked to participate in the Bud Billiken Parade with BMOA (Black McDonald’s Operators Association). I had such a fun time hanging with Ronald McDonald and seeing all the families out celebrating going back to school. Families lined King Drive bright and early waiting to get a glimpse as the parade went by. I remember being in the Bud Billiken Parade when I was 9, so it was such a honor to be back for such a family friendly event. Now in it’s 84th year, the Bud Billiken Parade is apart of Chicago’s history and definitely a way to get kids excited about going back to school!

Missed the parade? See some of what you missed below!

2013-08-13I had such a great time on the float, special thanks to BMOA for having me! I love how BMOA is so vested in giving back to the community, their presence at the picnic was definitely needed and it put a ton of smiles on those children faces. I was just honored to be apart! I’m looking forward to next year.

To celebrate the kids going back to school, I’m going to giveaway 5 $10 McDonald’s Arch Gift Cards. Enter to win below…
