Chevy Urban Style Event Makes A Stop in Chicago

A few weeks ago, Chevy made a stop in Chicago to give select bloggers, tastemakers and influencers a preview of the brand new 2014 Chevy Impala. Anyone who knows me knows that out of all the cars I’ve own my Chevy Impala was one of my favorites. I couldn’t wait to stop by and see all the changes Chevy made to one of my favorites.

While at the event, I got a chance to meet Jocelyn Allen (above), GM’s Regional Communications Director and  GM’s Vice President of Global Design, Ed Welburn (below). Ed talked about some of the changes they made to the Impala and how we worked with the design team to make his ideas for the Impala come to life.IMG_4504

As you can see the Impala has a much more sportier look! Ed said he took some of his inspiration from the Chevy Camaro. It’s funny when I got my Impala in 2006 not a lot of young people were driving that car at the time. Many people considered it to be a car for older people but I loved it for the technology and roominess the Impala had.  Since then Chevy has not only updated the car but they have added a wide range of colors.IMG_4509

Chevy, can I have this one please????

See how amazing the Impala is on the inside…

The dashboard is amazing!! Just when you think the Impala can’t get any better they go and do this!IMG_4511I didn’t take many pictures because I was too busy socializing. On another note, I finally got a chance to meet my girl Starlene!! Hey Starr!
