At the beginning of the month, I was asked to speak at the Most Powerful Voices (MPV) concert featuring Marvin Sapp. MPV’s is an annual concert sponsored by the American Heart Association to bring people together to learn how to not only prevent strokes but to inspire them to take better care of their hearts. For those of you who don’t know heart disease is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart, that’s why my work with Bleeding Heart Project is so important to me. I will take any chance, I get to help educate others so they don’t go through what I went through.
While, I’m no stranger to public speaking this was my biggest crowd to date; almost 4k people were in attendance! I would be lying if I said, I wasn’t looking for a way to sneak out the back door. But after a lot of prayer and help from my friend Natasha, I was ready to once again tell my story publicly.
I don’t have the professional video from the night but here is my speech courtesy of Felton.

I’m truly humbled to be asked to speak for such a prestigious organization an event! I’m so proud of the work that the American Heart Association does and pledge to be apart of it as long as I’m alive!!

Wow! That’s impressive. You did a great job and look beautiful!
