Being a Mom Doesn’t Mean You Have to Dress Boring!

Swa-Rai Outfit PostWhat can I say, I don’t like to follow directions! While a lot of people choose to wear boring colors to conferences, I prefer to shake things up a bit! That’s right, instead of the usual black suit that most would wear, I wore a pair of hot pink pants and believe me mama stood out! Not only did I have on hot pink pants but mama had on 4 inch wedges, definitely not your typical conference attire but I got plenty of compliments on my outfit. I choose to have fun with fashion but I still prefer to wear things that work for my body type! I’ve gained quite a few pounds in the last year or so, so I’ve been wearing a lot of blazers. I hate boring blazers but lucked up and found several cute ones for plus size girls at Forever 21. They truly have been a god send while I work on dropping a few pounds.

Blazer: Forever 21, Pants: Zara, Wedges: Steve Madden

Swa Rai Outfit PostAll in all, I had a great time! My outfit fits my personality! There is nothing better than being able to dress the way that you want when you are comfortable in your own skin. I’m not saying you have to dress like me but if you love color then wear color, if you love bling, then wear bling! Don’t think you have to hide your true self to make others happy. Now, I’m not giving you permission to dress inappropriate, but what I am saying is have fun with fashion. Fashion is your friend!
