I’ve decided to dedicate Sundays to inspire my readers and give you a peak of what’s going on inside my world. The problem with life is that we all go through something, whether it’s good or bad no one is exempt. All my life, I’ve tried to be great whether it was in my personal life or my professional life. I’ve always set goals and made it my business to reach them! Have I reached all of them? Absolutely not but I try. I’ve been through a lot but I’ve been blessed to have help; in life no one does anything alone. When they say it takes a village, they are right! All of my accomplishments happened because someone behind the scenes was there for me.
When I get to thinking back on some of those who have been there for me, I realize I haven’t always treated them the best. And I don’t mean in a mean or malicious way, I’m far from that! I mean, I haven’t always showed my appreciation for their willingness to help or simply be there! So, the lesson for myself this week is simple: I want to show others how much I appreciate them while we still have time.
So this week’s challenge for you is simple and the same as mines: I challenge you to mend a relationship that is or was important to you. Maybe you let a friendship go for petty reasons, maybe you owe someone an apology for whatever reasons. If I haven’t learned anything in life, I’ve learned that life is too short and it’s time to show people how much you love and appreciate them before they are gone!
