Last week, a few friends and I stopped by Brewstone Beer Company for a few drinks and conversation. This was my first visit to Brewstone and it definitely won’t be my last. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and led to our seats by the host. It was a Friday night and patrons were ready to get the weekend started! Brewstone is the perfect place for sports and beer fanatics, with over 32 beers for guests to choose from, you are bound to find one you like. I loved how there were TVs at every booth and throughout the entire restaurant, whether you want to catch the Cubs or Bulls game, Brewstone has it all.
I was literally starving so I ordered the Brewstone Wings for my appetizer at the suggestion of my waiter. These wings were delicious, they were the right combination of tangy and sweet. Plus, I’m a sucker for green onions with my wings, I was instantly a fan.
This Angus burger was cooked to perfection and topped off with grilled onions, Portobello mushrooms and swiss cheese. Oh, and lets not forget my favorite A1 Steak Sauce. Brewstone definitely knows how to make a good burger.
I decided, I wanted to try the Brewstone Filet. It included an 8oz. filet mignon wrapped with bacon with bleu cheese cream sauce, parmesan crusted mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. You guys already know I love bacon and then to add it with filet mignon was simply magical. This hands down was my favorite dish at Brewstone and it’s listed on the menu as a Chef’s favorite. I definitely can understand why.I couldn’t leave without trying desert so I ordered an Apple Crisp. It truly was the perfect way to end the evening. Good food, good friends, good atmosphere and great food; truly was the makings of a great Friday night. For more information on Chicago Brewstone go here.
