Weight Loss Struggle: Preparing Meals with Organic Girl Greens

If you follow me on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter than you know I’m trying to eat healthier. I’m working on making conscious choices as it relates to my eating habits and health. I’ve definitely tried eating better in the past, but I’ve always gotten caught up with life’s fast pace and usually fall off. Hey, I’m human, don’t judge me! The great thing about changing your lifestyle is if at first you don’t succeed then dust yourself off and try again…in the words of Aaliyah.

That being said, I’ve decided to use my blog to talk about my public weight loss struggles,  and products that I’m using while on this journey. I will use this segment as a place to talk openly with you guys. So, if you are having struggles share them! Trying a new healthy recipe, tell me about it! Sharing my struggles makes me more accountable for my actions, plus I just like all of the feedback you guys give me on our Facebook page.

As soon as I made up my mind to start eating better,  I was asked to try out Organic Girl Greens. Let me tell you, I have been using them nonstop since they arrived. These organic greens has made my life much easier, I’ve been using them in everything from omelets to salads. The great thing about Organic Girl is that they offer multiple varieties and oh yeah, they are organic! Which means they don’t contain all of those pesticides found in other greens.

I received the following greens:

  • SuperGreens! – Our most nutritious salad with baby red chard, baby tat soi, baby spinach, baby green swiss chard, baby arugula
  • I Heart Baby Kale – A superfood salad with tender, tasty baby kale, tango, baby spinach, baby green chard, green romaine, baby green oakleaf lettuce –
  • Baby Spinach – Tender, nutritious baby spinach leaves
