Last night, Plus Size Divas took to the Red Carpet at last nights Oscars! While there were some misses there were a few hits! I wasn’t overall impressed with the fashion my plus size sisters wore but there was a dress or two…I did like.
Octavia Spencer looked great in her Tadashi Shoji dressed! 
Queen Latifah was one of the only plus size divas who didn’t hide behind tulle! She looked amazing in her Badgley Mischka gown! She was my best dressed for the night!
Melissa, Melissa, Melissa…. Why did you do this? This dress is frumpy, ill-fitting and just plain wrong! It looks as if you threw together a bunch of recycled sweats to make this gown! I’m so disappointed but then again she has never amazed me with her fashion!
And here is Adele, while I like her dress I too fell this was on the frumpy side! I’m all for the bling but it just wasn’t my favorite look on Adele! I do however love the hair and makeup, she was done up to perfection!
Ladies, let this be a lesson for you: Just because you are a plus size girl, ill-fitting garments only make you look worse! There is nothing wrong with wearing a more form-fitting dress and by that I don’t mean tight! Hopefully, we will have better luck at the 2014 Oscars!
