Last Friday, my foundation The Bleeding Heart Project hosted our 2nd Annual Heart Health Awareness Expo/Party! I’m glad to report the event was a huge success, tons of pictures to follow! Besides the tons of compliments I got on the event, my outfit for the night garnered a lot of attention as well!  Even though you didn’t have to dress up for the event, ya’ll know I had to! I mean after all, it’s what I do! lol

When I was introduced during the event, I seriously felt on top of the world! I jokingly tell people that I looked like a Plus Size Black Barbie!

So what did I wear? I wore this dress from Fashion to Figure, one of my favorite shopping online destinations for Plus Size Girls! My dress is sold out but check out a similar version here! I paired the dress with Red Pumps from Steve Madden(sold out).

I truly felt so beautiful! Peplum dresses and tops works well for those of us who need to hide the tummy area while accentuating the hips! So if those are your problem areas like they are mine, you definitely should try wearing a Peplum; in actuality they look great on everyone!
