Event: Microsoft Surface Dinner Hosted by Afrobella

Last week, some of Chicago’s top influencers were invited to Japonais for a dinner hosted by Microsoft Surface and Afrobella!

As soon as guests arrived we were served with delicious cocktails and appetizers. After a little mingling/networking it was time to learn more about the Sufrace!

After BJ(Microsoft) went over the functionality, Afrobella went on to tell us how the Surface fits into her life as a blogger, speaker and more. She couldn’t stop gushing about how cute and easy to use it was. All things that peaked my interest. As a blogger who travels frequently, learning how the Surface would make my life easier was very important to me. While, I love my iPad, I’ve found it to be a hassle when it comes to blogging and attending conferences! Often times,  I find it hard to keep up with the speakers due to the lack of an external keyboard, but with the Microsoft Surface the external keyboard has been seamlessly integrated!

Call me lame but I also love how I can dress the surface up with different color keyboards to match my mood!
The Surface also has a internal, touch screen keyboard so you have both options! It’s as if they took everything that was missing from current tablets on the market and created the Surface!

Microsoft Surface accessories include a VGA adapter, perfect for when I need to do presentations! As well as a HD adapter which allows you to play games or movies from any HD display!

I was so busy playing with the Surface and eating that I forgot to take many pictures but I did get a quick pic with Gabi!

The people at Microsoft Surface was kind enough to gift us with our very own Microsoft Surface, a Surface Type Cover and a few Touch Covers!

Stay on the lookout for my video review and follow along with me as I take the Surface to CES and NYFW!

Thanks Microsoft and Afrobella for the invite!
