Earlier this month, I opted to attend the Lucky Fabb Conference in New York instead of my normal IFB Conference. I decided, I wanted the full experience so I went with the 2 day experience. Even though, I wasn’t feeling my best and was in a lot of pain, I just couldn’t miss Lucky Fabb! I took 2 Tylenol 3 and headed over to the Times Center! When my cab pulled up and dropped me off, I was already impressed!
As soon as I arrived we were greeted with personalized name tags, a huge plus!
We were then led to where the sessions would take place! I loved how everything was organized and professional, well worth the ticket price!
I was super excited to be at this conference, some of you may not know this but I’ve been reading Lucky Magazine since I was 13. I mean, full on subscription, a true Lucky Magazine fan so I had high hopes!
As soon as Rachel Zoe took the stage, I instantly remembered why I loved her so much!
The necklace she wore was everything, I wish I could have gotten an up close picture of it. In between sessions we got a chance to mix and mingle with brands at the conference.
After lunch, I attended a few breakout sessions on media training with the Editors of Lucky, got loads of useful information! Then it was back to listen to Lauren Conrad discuss her brand and what she’s been up to! Then Anna Sui took the stage to discuss her career and fashion and how she feels about bloggers, we also got a chance to peek at looks from her upcoming collection! There’s nothing much but to say Anna Sui is pretty dope!
Unfortunately, this is where the pictures stop for me.. I began to feel horrible, I was able to stay to the end but eventually had to go to the hospital the next day!
The only pic I have of me came from my boo Lisa over at Ghetto Fashionista.
One thing that people always talk about when they attend Lucky Fabb is how great the swag bags are! Almost 3 weeks later I still haven’t went all the way through mines but I had my intern take a few pics of what was inside..
We were told the swag bag was worth $1500.00 well worth the ticket price alone!
I also picked up some goodies from the brands that were there as well!
All in all Lucky Fabb didn’t disappoint, they put on a well thought out conference that had a little something for everyone! I can’t wait to the next one, stay tuned tomorrow to see how my Breakfast at Tiffany’s went with the editors of Lucky!
