A heart-felt drama starring Chris Pine (Star Trek) and breakout actress Elizabeth Banks (Man On A Ledge, Hunger Games). Pine is dealing with financial problems when he finds out his estranged father has died and left a will. He travels back to his hometown to find out his father has left $150,000 for him to give to someone else. In case you couldn’t guess whom, it’s Banks half-sister from his fathers secret other family. So not only does Pine have to give Banks and her son, newcomer Michael D’Addario the money, he meets them and hides the truth. The film also stars Michelle Pfeiffer as Pine’s mother who always knew about her husbands other family.
All in all, it’s an entertaining film and well written. There are parts that are somewhat predictable i.e. the alluding relationship between Pine and Banks in the movie, but definitely worth seeing. Grade: C+

I can’t imagine Pine’s quandry! Sounds like an interesting movie.
Off to see what it’s rated so I know if it’s suitable for the children.
