Sometimes we get so caught up in life we forget what’s most important…

I finally got a chance to look at the calendar and realized today would’ve been my mothers 53rd Birthday!

My mom has been gone since 2006 and it still seems like I lost her yesterday…

I wish she were here to tell me how proud of me she was… I would pay to hear her say it just one more time!

I wish she was here to tell me things would be ok… If I could just see her face one more time!

I wish she could’ve met my son her grandson just once…

But the reality of it is she won’t because she’s no longer here!

Happy Birthday Mom, I love you big much (as we used to say)!!

To those of you who still have your parents, hug them and tell them you love them, you never know when it will be their last day, don’t wait until it’s too late…

I didn’t and now I have to deal with it everyday of my life!
