Yesterday, I was invited to the Grand Opening of the Davidoff Cigar Lounge at the Humidor in Westmont. The Davidoff Lounge is the first of its kind in the U.S.

I must admit before last night, I’ve never smoked a cigar before.   All that changed last night when I smoked a Davidoff Special R! It took some getting used to but some of the guests showed me the proper way! I felt like one of the boys, I grabbed a glass of rum and enjoyed the rest of my evening!

The opening included Chicago Bears Matt Forte and Actor Kelsey Grammer, both of which I got to meet and speak to for a few moments. The event was well attended with food being catered by Capital Grill and Rum provided by Ron Zacapa!

The food was delicious and the chef even cooked my food well done especially for me!  I love Capital Grille for their excellent customer service!

Then it was time for the moment we had all been waiting for the cutting of the ribbon.

I got a chance to speak with Kelsey Grammer in the lounge, very nice man…

I also chatted with Matt Forte regarding his involvement with Davidoff and his love for cigars!

He went on to tell me how he has enjoyed working with Davidoff and indulges in a cigar every now and again.
