Last week I was invited to attend the Le Cirque traveling “pop-up” dinner series held at the Mid-America Club here in Chicago.
For those of you who aren’t familiar, ”Le Cirque, ranked among the best restaurants in the world and a favorite gathering place of celebrities, political figures, and high society for more than 35 years, will be showcased in the dining rooms of 10 private clubs in the ClubCorp family for one night only. “An Evening with Le Cirque” will feature a three-course menu with classic Le Cirque dishes and new items created by Chef Olivier.”
This was my first time dining at the Mid-America Club and I will tell you this, their service was impeccable from my arrival to my departure!
I arrived for my 7pm reservation and it was first class service from there on out!
Even though Le Cirque is based in New York, you truly felt like you were sitting in their restaurant down to the imprinted Le Cirque China.
Once we were seated and I had a chance to review the menu, it was finally time to eat!
For my first course I selected the Lobster Salad and my sister got the Tuna Tartare.
Then it was time for the 2nd Course…
For our 3rd course we selected the Chicken and Filet of Beef.
Then finally it was desert time!
I got a pleasant surprise when I got to the bottom of the bowl.
I will be making this as soon as I get a moment…
Before it was time to leave, I got a chance to meet the Chef and one of the owners of Le Cirque, they were very nice men! We spoke about how Le Cirque came to be and what inspired them to take their restaurant on the road!
As one last kind gesture we were sent these treats to the table.
All in all I give Le Cirque and Mid-America 5 stars! The service, the food, the atmosphere was perfect!
I can’t wait until I’m back in New York so I can visit the actual restaurant! Le Cirque is holding these pop-up events in 9 other market if you would like to get in on a truly amazing dining experience go here.

I want to try this when it comes to Atlanta! I review restaurants a lot! Love the post! xoxo
