Ok, I like to try new things too!

So, your blogger has fallen victim to the new beauty craze, beauty subscription services… That’s right, I subscribed to MyGlam.com.

For those of you who are new to subscription services, you basically pay a monthly fee and they will send you a new package every month! Each bag contains 4 or 5 beauty products for you to try and play with for $10.00. This month I received my first beauty bag, it arrived in this adorable pink mailer.

This month’s theme was dedicated to cruelty-free, organic, all-natural and earthy products…

Here is what was inside the bag…

It was pretty cool, I got a Facial Peel-Off Mask from Freeman, Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing conditioner from Wen by Chaz Dean, Sheer Cover, Shady Lady balm.

My thoughts: I love the cucumber mask. I can’t wait to try the shadow. We will see how I feel about the conditioner later, but the sheer coverage apparently they didn’t read my profile because I’m a dark girl and this is way to light for me. All in all not bad for only $10 when the contents value were over $40. I’m not super impressed with this bag but I’m not disappointed either. I will try them out for a few months before I make a final decision.

Anyone else use these subscription services? What are your thoughts? Anyone wanting to try one but haven’t taken the leap?
