Review: 9 to 5:The Musical

Last week I had the chance to go see 9 to 5: The Musical at the Bank of America Theatre in Chicago.

Last week I had the chance to go see 9 to 5: The Musical at the Bank of America Theatre in Chicago.  Opening night was full of surprises and special guests appearances; as the show  began we were greeted by our very own Governor Pat Quinn. There was also a guest appearance by the legend herself Ms. Dolly Parton, who served as composer and lyricist for the musical.

9 to 5 was a hilarious, witty rendition on what goes on in the workplace on a day to day basis!! I thoroughly enjoyed the musical from beginning to end.

I definitely recommend everyone go see 9 to 5!

If you don’t go for any other reason than to hear the singing it would be well worth the money.  Dee Hotty, Mamie Parris and Diana DeGarmo (from American Idol) did an excellent job, I can see why 9 to 5 was nominated for four Tony Awards!

9 to 5 will be here in Chicago at the Bank of America Theatre until January 30, 2011, make sure you get out and go see it!

Support the theater and support Broadway in Chicago, you will be glad you did!
