This past Friday I along with other people in media were invited to come to Soldier Field to experience the new safety technology equipped on Lexus vehicles.
As with any Lexus event, Lexus didn’t disappoint (check out my blog on the Lexus Listening Lounge)!
The event started around 10am with us being introduced to some of Lexus key players in the Midwest, we were then given a brief overview of the Lexus Company and what they are about. After introductions we were taken to a simulated race course where we were given our own professional driver from Apex! Lexus set up 3 different race track scenarios that allowed us to test out the following Lexus safety features: Smart Stop Technology, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRAC). These different courses allowed us to get hands on experience of the safety features and how they can potentially save your life in a crisis.
While the thought of simulating a crash was very scary to me (on several occasions I let the professional driver drive for me) it was good to know that these features were available to help protect you from a possible disastrous situation.
While there, I fell in love with the 2010 Lexus RX, this car in conjunction with the new safety features I learned about was hot…
I would definitely contemplate buying this baby!
I had tons of fun and definitely loved learning more about Lexus and their vehicles!
If protecting your family and yourself is a priority to you, I would definitely go to your nearest Lexus dealership or go to Lexus.com to learn more about these safety features, it’s better to be safe than sorry!

Automobile technology and vehicle safety are at all time record highs. It’s good to see so many manufacturers like Lexus putting their best foot forward when it comes to providing the safest transportation possible while keeping us excited about designs and practical functionality.
