This past Saturday I attended the Dangerous Curves Fashion Show presented by Tamika Martell of A-Line Style Services at the Zhou Art Gallery in Chicago, IL. The VIP reception started at 6pm and was very well attended, there we were greeted by host Ms. Bionce Foxx. During the reception guest got to mingle, sip wine, taste food from Coco and shop with 20+ vendors.
Once it was showtime guests were escorted upstairs for the fashion show. The show featured designs from Think Pink Couture, Siobhan Apparel, Chocolate Sushi Couture, Crescendo Apparel and Ra’mon Lawrence (season 6 Project Runway) shoes were provided by Kham’ryn B. Shoes. The fashion show and designs were excellent and featured models of all shapes and sizes.
Take a look at some of the great designs…
My favorite piece of the entire night was Ra’mon Lawrence’s “Stardust” heels… I think I may sell my first born so I can get these, you guys don’t understand..I need these shoes, not want..I need these SHOES!!!
The special moment of the night came when Tamika Martell escorted a lady down the runway from the Primo Center for Women. She was given a complete makeover and looked good as she strutted her stuff down the runway. As a way of giving back Tamika, who was once homeless herself gave part of the night’s proceeds to the shelter.
My 2nd highlight of the night was getting to meet Ra’mon Lawrence, he was very nice and I LOVED his designs..I love a designer who thinks outside of the box and you could tell Ra’mon did just that!
